The Ask

We worked with Blodtrycksdoktorn in evolving their offering to include preventive healthcare services.

While their app had a strong user base, it primarily served users already managing health issues. The company wanted to evolve beyond treatment and support people in taking action before issues arise. As competition in the space grew, expanding into proactive and preventive healthcare became a key strategy for standing out.

Strategic Insights

To set a strong strategic direction, we began by studying:

  1. How leading products are shaping preventive care
  2. How people form health habits
  3. What motivates long-term engagement

This strategic foundation about user behavior and what competitors are offering ensured that every concept we developed was grounded in real demand, user behaviour and designed for long-term engagement.

Differentiation Through Credibility

Studying how competitors communicate about preventive care allowed us to suggest a tone and journey that balances medical authority with emotional resonance which is the key to building trust in this space. A clear, medically proven user journey stands out and earns confidence.

Holistic Mindset

People are more likely to adopt health routines when services support how they think and feel, not just what they should do. Emotional states, social factors and physical activity are deeply interconnected with wellbeing. Services that acknowledge this complexity are more relevant and motivating.

Education as Activation

Helping users move from symptom-based care to self-initiated action requires framing health as an ongoing journey, not just a quick fix. When users understand the “why” behind their health, they’re more likely to engage consistently and with purpose.
